A week later, I went to the Sherwood Festival with my friend Ale. As we enjoyed the event, I started taking casual photos, experimenting with my new camera. Ale encouraged me to ask about photographing for the festival, so I did. That’s when I met Babi, one of the festival’s photography coordinator. She challenged me to take some shots that night and show her before I left. Excited, I spent the evening capturing the festival’s energy. Later, before leaving, I showed my photos to Babi, and to my surprise, she was impressed. “These are good—you seem to know what you’re doing,” she said. The next day, I joined the festival’s photography team, gaining access to exciting shows and behind-the-scenes moments. That experience was a turning point. It gave me the confidence to dive deeper into photography, exploring new perspectives. What started as a spontaneous purchase quickly became a lifelong passion, and since then, I’ve been dedicated to capturing unique moments, one photo at a time.
